I also recently purchased these to replace Klipsch F1 floor standing speakers. I purchased a new flat screen LCD to replace a rear projection LCD and needed new slimmer front speakers to compliment the thinner wall mounted LCD. These speakers were a huge improvement over the Klipsch F1's. The speakers are sharper, higher end crisp notes and clear sounding at all volume levels. They do lack a little with the bass, but if you have a sub woofer this is not noticeable. I also purchased a Mythos seven center channel speaker to match the Mythos fives.
